Casa Montalban is a 19th century house, once part of a large ?cortijo?, offers through its almost closed facade the intimacy of a Moorish house. But behind the big gate it opens to an airy and light-filled house on three levels. Each of the high, spacious room leads through a double-leaf patio door to a patio or terrace, so that you feel like in a riad.

Entering the house you come to a patio, shaded by a large old Jasmin. Just to the right of it is the living room overlooking this patio and a fountain. Next to the patio a hallway leads to a large beautifully tiled bathroom, and further on to the open plan dining area and kitchen with pantry and a second patio.

From this terrace you got access to a bedroom with en suite bathroom, balcony and living room with cast iron wood stove and ? on the other side of the terrace - a separate second bedroom with balcony to the street and one to the first patio.

Another staircase leads to the large roof terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of the old town of Vejer, the vast landscape of the Lagoon de la Janda and the Sierra de Cádiz. On this terrace is a third bedroom as well with with en suite shower.
